Just a quick blog to confirm for anyone unsure of how classes are currently running or how they might run in the future…..

Until Social distancing for group exercise ends, it will extremely difficult to run any sort of community face to face class. Even with just the  3m ruling ( for moving exercise)  this will reduce class size dramatically and make it both difficult as a business, but also virtually impossible for me to choose who could and couldn’t come to class each week.   Also restrictions are changing week by week so I do feel staying online until we have some real certainty and consistency with classes is the way forward.

Venues – Going forward I do hope to continue with most of the venues I have been using for years, however it may be that their own restrictions, guidelines or changes make it difficult for me to continue at that particular venue.  Therefore I am keeping an open mind and will consider various options open to me, to bring the best service to my customers and keep classes running.

Classes – I can confirm from now,  that Friday face to face classes will move permanently online and I am considering possibly another class to move too. The new ‘normal’ will mean that I intend to run both face to face classes and online classes, to keep everyone happy and ensure I can keep up with demand and requests from clients.  This will also mean I will offer hybrid memberships ie,  online only, a mix of online and face to face, and for community classes there will still be a PAYG option. I have reduced memberships currently to hopefully bring the best value for money whilst we are just online. However once we return to the community I will need to increase some of the ‘current’  membership prices to reflect room hire etc, as I did before the Covid pandemic.

I will continue to check at regular intervals with venues and of course listen to government and exercise guidelines, so as soon as it possible to bring classes back to the community will do so.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. If you have any questions please drop me a line.
