Darker nights are already here and Winter is only a few weeks away. Hopefully the weather isn’t going to be too bad but we shouldn’t let this affect our health and fitness regime. During this time of year there is less sunlight and this can play have with our mood and energy levels. So my advice is not unravel all of the good work you have already done this year, but to continue all the way through to to December, my last class of the year is 17th December. I believe it is a mistake to set your goals just for January or the new year, as this can put extra pressure on you and you may be setting unrealistic goals anyway. Yes you may need to push yourself a bit more during the darker nights, but you will reap the benefits when you can fit into your Christmas clothes and have room to indulge during the festive period without worry.
A great way to keep motivated and ensure you attend classes is to by a membership with me. A month pass lasts from the 1st of each month until the last day of the month. I also now have a debit/card reader I shall have in class at the beginning of the month for anyone wanting to buy a membership. Unfortunately this card is not for use with the PAYG option.
